What kind of photos should I upload to Sequel?

Modified on Thu, 16 Apr at 3:53 PM

At Sequel, we champion creative freedom and individual identity. However, to maintain a welcoming and trusted environment for our community, we ask that all members adhere to the visual standards outlined below.

We encourage you to use a high-resolution image taken within the last 24 months. Your face should be the focal point. To support your style, we permit the following:

  • Images featuring sunglasses or eyewear.

  • Headwear, caps, or cultural attire.

  • Stylized filters or edits, provided your facial features remain recognizable.

To ensure safety and compliance, we will reject or remove images containing:

  • Abusive Material: Gestures, symbols, or content that could be deemed harassing or offensive.

  • Child Safety Violations: Any imagery featuring minors (individuals under 18).

  • Explicit Content: Nudity, sexual acts, or transparent/revealing lingerie.

  • Restricted Items: Depictions of narcotics, firearms, extreme violence, or animal cruelty.

  • Impersonation: Photos of celebrities, influencers, public figures, or other people that are not you.

  • Solicitation & PII: Text overlays displaying phone numbers, external handles, or promotion of other services.

  • Divisive Messaging: Political slogans or commercial advertising that disrupts the community experience.

  • AI-generated content: Included, but not limited to generated faces, objects, etc.

Our Trust & Safety Team manually reviews all uploads. Any media found in violation of these protocols will be removed immediately. By respecting these guidelines, you help us build a safer, more authentic space for connection.

Thank you for your cooperation.
