How do I request a refund?

If the subscription was purchased directly within the app (known as an In-App Purchase), the entire billing process is exclusively controlled by Apple and Google.

To request your refund from Apple, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

  2. Click "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund."

  3. Select your reason, choose the Sequel subscription from the list, and click Submit.


Because your subscription was purchased through the Google Play Store and it has been less than 48 hours since the transaction, Google manages the refund process directly.

While we cannot issue this refund on our end, you can easily request it from Google Play by following these steps:

  1. Go to play.google.com on your device.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Payments & subscriptions."

  3. Go to the Budget & order history tab.

  4. Find the Sequel order, click "Request a refund," and submit the form.


In case of more than 48 hours have passed since the charge, Google Play directs these requests to us. We can process this refund for you manually on our end, but we need your purchase details to find the transaction.

Please reply to this email with your Google Play Order ID (or attach a screenshot of your Google Play receipt). The Order ID always starts with GPA. and looks like this: GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX.
