Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We believe you should have complete control over who you interact with on our platform. If you no longer wish to be in contact with another member for any reason, you can easily Block them. Also, if you happen to encounter behavior that violates our Community Guidelines, we strongly encourage you to Report the user.
You can block/report a user directly from your discover page or from chat history. Once blocked, the action is immediate.
Method 1: Blocking/Reporting from a Discover page
Navigate to your Discover page.
Locate the "Three dots" button in the top right corner of the user profile photo.
Select Block/Report from the dropdown menu.
In case of blocking the user, the confirmation window will apper while for reporting, it is required to indicate the report reason.
Method 2: Blocking/Reporting from Chat
Open the chat with the user.
Tap their name or just click the "Three dots" button in the top corner.
Select Report User.
Choose the reason for the report and hit Submit.
Blocking vs. Reporting: What’s the Difference?
Use BLOCK when: You simply aren’t interested, the chemistry isn’t there, or you find them annoying but they haven’t broken any rules. This is a personal boundary tool.
Use REPORT when: The user has violated our Community Guidelines. This includes harassment, offensive language, scamming/spamming, catfish profiles, or soliciting money.
If you feel unsafe or experienced harassment, please Report the user before blocking them. Reporting sends a request to our Trust & Safety team for review so we can take action to protect the rest of the community.
What Happens When You Block Someone?
We understand that you may be concerned about whether the other person will know they have been blocked. Here is exactly what happens:
No Notification: The user is not notified that you blocked them.
Invisible Profiles: You will no longer appear in their search results, match lists, or "Who viewed me" lists. Conversely, you will not see their profile either.
Messages Disappear: The chat history will be removed from your inbox. They will no longer be able to send you messages.
Unmatching: Blocking automatically "unmatches" you from the user.
Note: If you unblock a user later, your previous chat history will not be restored, and you will need to "match" with them again to send messages.
